Merzouga Desert
We will pick you up from your Riad or hotel at around 7:30 am. The group desert excursion from Fez to Merzouga lasts about 8 hours, passing through towns such as Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, and Azrou, an important Berber craft center. You will also cross cedar forests and see Atlas monkeys.
We will continue our excursion into the desert passing through Midelt and Erfoud, an area known for its fossils and minerals, until we reach Merzouga, where the Erg Chebbi dunes await you for a memorable camel ride at sunset. The first day concludes with dinner under the stars in a desert camp.Upon reaching Merzouga, we will engage in one of the most significant activities of the desert tour, a camel ride through the beautiful dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will spend the night at a desert camp. You will indulge in a delicious Berber dinner and sleep in a traditional nomadic tent or under the stars.
