Leaving Ronda, you’ll head into the countryside along an unpaved historic trade route once used by coastal fishermen. The path uses quiet tracks and backroads with minimal traffic, passing through Mediterranean oak forests (Dehesas) and local vineyards with views of the Sierra de las Nieves.
While there is an initial ascent at the start, a highlight is a spectacular descent into the Guadalporcún Valley.
The tour ends in Setenil de las Bodegas, famous for houses built into limestone cliffs.
