Your adventure begins with either an early morning pickup in Panama City between 5:00 and 5:45 AM (if booked with transportation) or a self-drive to the port of Cartí by 8:30 AM, where only 4x4 vehicles are permitted. The port can feel busy and a bit chaotic, but the Guna guides have all logistics well organized, ensuring a smooth check-in process. From there, you’ll take a 20–40 minute boat ride to Isla Perro, which may include quick stops at other islands to pick up or drop off travelers, offering a glimpse of authentic Guna island life.

Upon arrival, check into your private room and enjoy your first freshly prepared lunch. The rest of the day is yours to relax on the beach, swim in turquoise waters, and snorkel (you can rent snorkel & mask at the island) the famous shipwreck right in front of the island. Dinner is included before you settle into your cabin for the night.
