Your guide picks you up in Kirkenes and drives approximately 20 minutes to the trailhead near the Norwegian–Russian border. On the hike, you will see and experience:
- Viewpoint Pasvik River (viewpoint overlooking parts of the border river)
- Viewpoint Boris Gleb Monastery (historic Russian Orthodox monastery on the Russian side)
- Viewpoint Boris Gleb Hydroelectric Power Plant (Soviet-era power plant visible from the Norwegian side)
