Paint your own Byzantine "Angel of the Lord" Icon in Rethymno's Old Town. This 3-hour immersive workshop is about:
1) Introduction to Iconography We start with a brief overview of the essential historical elements of Byzantine Iconography, the traditional materials used, and their deep symbolism.
2) Sketching the Icon We begin by sketching the "Angel of the Lord" onto a specially prepared canvas surface. Your creative journey starts here!
3) Expert Guidance Your instructor guides you through every step of the egg tempera technique.
