After a quick safety briefing and a demonstration in a high-tech gym, you’ll learn the essentials of rowing with a coach. Once you're familiar with the technique, it's time to hit the water in a stable quad boat, gliding past historic boathouses and under charming bridges. برنامج الجولة
We start the experience with an introduction at City of Cambridge Rowing club. This is followed by a 30min session on the clubs rowing machines (ergs), working on timing and technique. We then put the technique into practice by taking a stable 'quad' boat out and affixing this to the side of the river where participants are then able to perform the rowing stroke on the water.
Once we feel confident that you are able to follow instructions carefully, all four participants will get into the boat with their instructor. Quick picture moment and then its straight onto the river where you get a full hour of rowing on the River Cam!
