Baños de Agua Santa
About
The visit to the Quilotoa Lagoon is special because it offers one of the most impressive volcanic crater lakes in the world, with an intense turquoise color that varies depending on the sunlight and weather conditions.
Located in the heart of the Ecuadorian Andes, the lagoon is surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery, traditional indigenous peoples and unspoilt nature, making the journey as impressive as the destination itself.
What makes this experience truly unique is the opportunity to walk along the crater rim, enjoy panoramic views of the volcanic caldera and, for more adventurous travelers, descend to the lake and feel the magnitude of the volcano from within.
