Experience authentic Japanese pottery in a traditional local home near Narita Airport.
At a pottery studio set within a historic Japanese residence, you will learn traditional hand-building techniques while creating your own pottery pieces in a calm and intimate setting.
Begin by crafting a small yunomi cup to learn the basics, then create a matcha tea bowl (chawan) using approximately 1 kg of clay. In the afternoon, you will complete the finishing process by shaping, smoothing, and adding your own patterns or signature.
