The experience begins with a previously coordinated pickup from your hotel in the city of Cusco. Afterwards, participants are transferred to the community, where they are welcomed with traditional music and greeted by the local leader (Varayoc), accompanied by a complimentary drink.
During the activity, guests are introduced to Andean culture through explanations of traditional agricultural tools and ancestral farming processes. Participants take part in the preparation of the Pachamanca while enjoying a demonstration of traditional Andean textiles made using ancestral techniques. Finally, everyone enjoys the Pachamanca meal and has free time to purchase local products before concluding the experience with a traditional farewell.
The experience lasts approximately four hours, is suitable for all ages, and operates throughout the year, subject to varying weather conditions.
