Park and National Palace of Pena
The Pena Palace is one of the most emblematic monuments in Portugal and one of the most visited in the country. It is located in the Serra de Sintra, around 40 kilometers from Lisbon, and is a stunning example of 19th century romantic architecture.
The palace was built by King Fernando II, who was a great admirer of German romantic architecture. The project was inspired by medieval castles and baroque churches, with a mix of styles that results in a unique and inimitable building.

Sintra
Sintra, a charming village with a rich history, is known for its ancient, winding streets. A walk through the village streets is a great way to experience its unique atmosphere. The streets are narrow and paved with cobblestones, (Wear comfortable shoes) and the houses are built in stone and tiles.
You'll find a mix of ancient and modern architecture, from traditional Portuguese houses to mountain chalets.
As you walk, you will be able to see many important landmarks such as the Sintra National Palace, the Castle of the Moors and Quinta da Regaleira.
You will also find many souvenir shops, restaurants and cafes, and you will even have time to taste one of the most delicious sweets in Portugal

Cascais: Cascais is a coastal city known for its beautiful beaches such as Praia da Rainha, Praia da Conceição and Praia da Duquesa, its historical and cultural heritage where you can find historic buildings such as the City Palace, the Church of Misericórdia and the Condes de Castro Guimarães Museum, and its lively nightlife.
