An ancient symbol of power and prestige, the towers of San Gimignano are like stone fingers pointing skyward, telling the story of a thriving and ambitious city in the heart of the Middle Ages. The heart of the town is Piazza della Cisterna, paved in a herringbone pattern, surrounded by historic buildings and dominated by the Devil's Tower.
