Meet your guide and driver at your hotel in the morning,drive to Zhujiajiao water town,located in outskirts of Shanghai, Zhujiajiao (Zhu Family Settlement) is an ancient water town well-known throughout the country, with a history of more than 1700 years. Covering an area of 47 square kilometers, the little fan-shaped town glimmers like a bright pearl in the landscape of lakes and mountains. The village prospered through clothing and rice businesses. Till today, old historical buildings such as rice shops, banks, spice stores and even a Qing dynasty post office can still be found.
