This is the home of the highest Water Fall in the world situated in a world heritage site in the Drakensberg. The route is designed to fit our clients fitness and experience. Those who cannot reach the summit we have an alternate route to show you the falls and Amphitheater. At the chain ladders you might spot the endangered vultures. Let’s see if you can identify them. Your Adventure starts from the Witsieshoek hotel early in the morning after breakfast where we get a shuttle up to the Sentinel Car Park. Our hike up the mountain starts from here. This is a hike in the Drakensberg that takes you up the highest mountain in South Africa to Sentinel Peak and to the top of the Tugela Falls. The Tugela Falls are the highest falls in the world at 948m. The summit is 3100 m above sea level. At this height you can see Mount Aux and the Amphitheater. The hiking route is really exciting and has two routes to the top - the Sentinel Gorge route is for experienced or fitter hikers and the chain ladder is challenging but a lot easier.
