Balos Lagoon
Departing from The port of Kissamos our ride to the beautiful lagoon of Balos will last approximately 40 min. As approaching the turquoise waters the beauty of the wild landscape will enchant you. The Lagoon of Balos has white sand and exotic white, vivid blue and turquoise waters. The sea is very shallow and warm ideal for young children. In many places the sand has a lovely pinkish color because of millions of crushed shells. Beyond the rocks at the boundaries of the lagoon the water is deeper and colder.
Our visit at Balos will last about 2h 30min , so we wil have enough time to visit also Gramvousa,just across.
Do not hesitate to come on board for a cold beer. It is time to depart for Gramvousa... Let's explote the island of pirates.

Gramvousa Beach
Let's explore that mystical place. We will dock straight at the small port of Gramvousa. Gramvousa is famous for its historical Venetian fortress, which still stands at a height of 137m, over the beach. The fort had also been used by pirates, one legend tells that there is a great treasure buried in the island.The view from there is stunning. A good idea in case you are going to admire that 360 panoramic view is to bring a pair of sneakers with you, because there is only a trail that will guide you at the top. Also the old wreck that was abandoned many years ago near the beach, has become an characteristic part of the landscape and ideal for those who love snorkeling.
It's about time for our tasty homemade snacks and drinks.
