Your private Inca Trail adventure begins early in the morning with a comfortable pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. Enjoy a scenic drive to Ollantaytambo for breakfast before continuing to Piscacucho (KM 82), the official starting point of the trek. Here, you’ll meet your expert guide, dedicated porters, and chef—your team for the journey ahead. The hike begins gently along the Urubamba River, passing the village of Canabamba, where you’ll admire Inca irrigation canals and the snow-capped Veronica Mountain. Explore the archaeological site of Llactapata, hidden among lush valleys, and learn about its role in the ancient Inca network. After a delicious lunch in Tarayoc, continue to Ayapata (3,300m / 10,827ft), your first private campsite. Arrive in the late afternoon, enjoy tea service and a freshly prepared dinner under the stars, and rest surrounded by the peaceful Andes.
