You’ll meet me at Cais de Gaia for a warm welcome and a quick “palate primer” on how to taste, what to notice, and how food changes a wine. We’ll stroll between venues at an easy pace, taking in the riverside views while I share the stories behind Port and Douro wines and the people who craft them.
Inside the cellar, I’ll guide you through an elegant, side by side tasting of contrasting Port styles. We’ll pair them with artisanal cheeses and dried fruits, allowing you to experience the balance of structure, sweetness, acidity, and ageing. Between stops, I’ll point out landmarks and answer any questions from grape varieties to harvest timing.
