Palazzo Pitti represents the last residence of the Medici in Florence, inside the museum illustrates the works belonging to the daily life of the family of the Grand Dukes of the Medici, from Cosimo I up to his last descendants (early 700), Ferdinando, Gian Gastone and Anna Maria Luisa also called the Palatine Electric to whom the museum is dedicated. The Palatine Gallery is a museum located inside the Pitti Palace, it represents the main attraction of the building and extends over 28 rooms located on the main floor of the residence. The main paintings inside date back to the 16th and 17th centuries, making it one of the most important Italian and Florentine museums of its kind.
