Very spiritual place. You can worship peacefully here. Environment is pretty pleasing.The Museum of wall Painting of the Central Cultural Fund is located in the Rangiri Dambulla Raja Maha Vihara premises and tour also includes tickets to the musium.

Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs
A must-see for anyone interested in the prehistoric period. One of the very few pre-Buddhism sights in Sri Lanka. The remains give you a glimpse into the past many thousands of years ago. When walking towards the tombs the corridor is lined with photos of some of the discoveries - clay pots and beads - don't ignore those, not every day you get a chance to see something made hundreds of generations before.

Pidurangala Rock

Hike up Pidurangala Rock, a geological feature offering extensive views of the verdant hilly landscape and an atmosphere of seclusion and contemplation. Standing opposite a larger, more frequented hill, the rock possesses a different charm to its touristy brother, with a quiet and peaceful Buddhist temple at its foot, and a giant reclining Buddha statue in a secluded cave part way up.
