We will travel together with the guide to the Hirayama Ikuo Museum of Art. The museum is dedicated to the works of Hirayama Ikuo, a renowned Japanese painter known for his beautiful landscapes and historical themes, particularly focusing on Asian culture and heritage. The museum offers a serene atmosphere with a collection that highlights traditional Japanese art and the artist’s spiritual journey.

Roadside Station Tatara Shimanami Park
Cycling from Ikuchijima Island to Tatara Bridge Shimanami Park together with the guide. We will take time for lunch after arriving at the park.

Kosanji-Tempel
Traveling by car with the guide, touring the island’s art museums and then proceed to Kōsan-ji Temple. Kōsan-ji Temple is a unique Buddhist temple located on Ikuchijima Island, renowned for its stunning architecture inspired by various historic Japanese styles, beautiful gardens, and elaborate statues. The temple was built in memory of the founder’s mother and features impressive halls, a large Buddha statue, and a museum displaying Buddhist art and cultural artifacts.
We will also visit the Hill of the Future Heart (Mirai-shin no Oka).
