Parque das Aves is a private park founded in 1994 and which became an Integrated Conservation Center for Atlantic Forest Species in 2017. It has 1500 birds, of more than 150 species, and about 54% of the birds have been rescued from bad treatment and trafficking. The Park is also home to the largest macaw flight nursery in the world.
