Panama Canal Administration Building
During our stop at the iconic Administration Building, guests will learn about the history and importance of one of Panama’s most symbolic landmarks. We’ll explore the surrounding Canal Zone area, including the former Balboa High School, the Goethals monument, the Canal workers memorial, and the building’s impressive neoclassical architecture.
If the tour takes place Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., guests will also have the opportunity to enter the Administration Building itself, where they can enjoy a coffee inside one of the country’s most historic buildings — the headquarters behind one of the greatest engineering projects in the world.

Ancon Hill
After visiting the Administration Building, we’ll explore the historic neighborhoods of Ancón and La Boca, where guests will see original Canal-era homes, the former site of Balboa High School, and the area connected to the events of January 9, 1964.
Along the way, we’ll uncover what daily life inside the Canal Zone was like, including segregation, the Gold and Silver Roll system, and the American communities that once shaped the area.

We’ll conclude the experience at the incredible Museo del Canal Interoceánico de Panamá — one of the country’s most impressive museums and the perfect finale to the tour.
After walking through the former Canal Zone, guests will come face-to-face with the real history behind it all through powerful artifacts, original machinery, historic photographs, maps, uniforms, and personal stories from the people who built and lived around the Canal.
