Villaggio Nuragico Palmavera
The Nuraghe Palmavera, located near Alghero in Sardinia, is one of the best-preserved examples of Nuragic Bronze Age architecture, dating back to the 15th-8th centuries BCE. The site features an imposing central tower built from limestone and sandstone, flanked by a smaller tower and encircled by a fortified wall that encloses a courtyard. Surrounding the towers are the remains of over fifty huts, including the meeting hut, likely used by community leaders. This site offers a unique glimpse into the Nuragic civilization, enriched by stone altars, niches, and artifacts found during excavations.
