Your trip begins here! At 4:00 am, followed by a scenic drive through the southern Andes toward the charming town of Cusipata. Along the way, we stop to enjoy a warm and delicious Andean breakfast, the perfect way to start the day. As we continue our journey, the landscape opens into an extensive high-Andean plateau, featuring wide plains surrounded by mountains.This environment offers a deep sense of tranquility and an authentic connection with rural Andean life.

EXPERIENCE Around 8:00 AM, we begin our guided hike toward Pallay Poncho Mountain. The trail is short and accessible, and our professional guide maintains a comfortable pace while sharing insights into local culture, geology, and the unique high-altitude ecosystem. From the very start, the route is visually stunning, offering panoramic views of Langui Lake and a dramatic landscape of striking red mountains and distant rock formations. As we ascend, the scenery becomes even more impressive until we reach the Pallay Poncho Viewpoint. At the summit, enjoy free time to explore the remarkable multicolored rock formations that resemble an Andean poncho draped across the mountain. Capture unforgettable photos and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, far from the crowds. After taking in the views, we begin a gentle 20-minute downhill walk back to the vehicle. We then return to Cusipata, where a delicious buffet lunch awaits before continuing our journey back to Cusco.
