The Palace of Dueñas is, perhaps along with the Cathedral, the Alcázar, and the Santa Cruz neighborhood, one of Seville's most famous monuments. This palace belongs to one of Spain's most illustrious families: the House of Alba, whose origins date back to the 14th century. Its current owners decided to open it to the public in 2016, following the death of the last Duchess of Alba.
