Beginning with body painting and later collaborating with Universal Studios Japan, his fascination with fluid, organic lines naturally evolved into washi lamp art. His designs reject rigid geometry — no straight lines, only gentle curves inspired by movement and light.
He works with exceptional materials, including rare mulberry-fiber paper and Mino Washi, a historically significant paper from Gifu Prefecture recognized for its cultural value.
