Our experience will be in the Cordón del Plata Protected Natural Area, the area is better known as Vallecitos, and our trek will be in a small portion of the legendary Cadenita a beautiful challenge perhaps, for another opportunity. Once we left the vehicles behind at the mountain ski club, we quickly began to walk through the Quebrada del Student, which is home to rich vegetation and native fauna.
