Mikumi National Park
Mikumi National Park borders the vast Selous Game Reserve, creating a thriving ecosystem. Its Mkata Floodplain, often compared to the Serengeti, is home to lions, zebra, giraffe, elephant, wildebeest, impala, and buffalo.
Your journey begins with a 07:00 flight from Zanzibar, arriving at Mikumi Airstrip by 08:00, where your safari guide awaits. The adventure starts immediately with a game drive across the wildlife-rich Mkata Plains, including a stop at the Hippo Pool.
After a bush lunch, continue exploring the park before returning to the airstrip by 15:30 for your flight back to Zanzibar.
