The “Paint Your Alebrije” experience is a unique cultural activity that takes place in the community of Viguera, a town 20 minutes from the historic center, where we will visit the magical space of the group of artisans from the Mixe area of the state of Oaxaca.
Participants will learn firsthand about the creative process behind alebrijes, hand-carved and hand-painted wooden figures that represent the imagination and worldview of the Zapotec people.
