Since Cusco is located at a high altitude, we recommend arriving before noon to rest and adapt before starting the afternoon city tour experience.

In the afternoon, we will explore the ancient capital of the Inca Empire during a guided Cusco City Tour. The experience introduces the fascinating blend of Inca and colonial architecture that defines the city today. We will visit the famous Qoricancha, once considered the most important temple of the Inca Empire. Dedicated to the Sun God Inti, this impressive site showcases extraordinary Inca stonework combined with colonial architecture built by the Spanish conquerors. We will continue to the impressive archaeological complex of Sacsayhuamán, located above Cusco City. This massive Inca fortress is famous for its enormous stone walls, some weighing more than 100 tons.
