Itinerary
1
Ollantaytambo
At 4:30 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo. Here, you will board the train to Machu Picchu.
You'll delight in exploring the fascinating Sacred Valley of the Incas, famous for its natural beauty, located about 15 kilometers northwest of Cusco, along the Urubamba River.
The valley's proximity to Machu Picchu (just a few hours away) makes this trip through the valley part of your route to the famous Inca citadel.
2
Aguas Calientes
Upon arriving at the town of Aguas Calientes, our transportation staff will be waiting to give us directions, and then we'll board the bus for the ascent to the Inca citadel, Machu Picchu.
The trip will take approximately 35 minutes.
It's the closest town to the famous citadel of Machu Picchu, one of the world's most iconic tourist destinations. It's the perfect place to experience the perfect combination of nature and culture. It has a good infrastructure for accommodations and restaurants. Walking through the local market, you'll find products such as textiles, ceramics, jewelry, and souvenirs made by the region's inhabitants. With the nearby mountains, you'll be able to experience something beyond a simple tourist visit.

Machu Picchu
Enjoy a guided walking tour for the next two hours. This experience will give you an overview of the key landmarks and history of this enigmatic Inca center. You will also have extra time to explore this fascinating site independently, relax, and take photographs.Based on your scheduled entry time to Machu Picchu, here you will discover the historical and cultural significance of Machu Picchu.
At the scheduled time, we will board the bus back to Aguas Calientes. Once in Aguas Calientes, you will have free time for lunch, (own expense) before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo for another trip back to Cusco . Important: Tickets to Machu Picchu will be assigned based on availability at the time of booking. The first option will be Machu Picchu Circuit 2 (but we suggest booking this option at least 2 to 3 months in advance). Once tickets for Machupicchu Circuit 2 are sold out, we will assign you either Machupicchu Circuit 1 or Machupicchu Circuit 3.
