What you will experience on Circuit 1A: You enter through the agricultural terraces and ascend to the Guardhouse, where you will take the photograph that has been on every travel magazine cover for decades. From there the route continues and allow you to hike the sacred APU: Machu Picchu Mountain. Steep challenging hike with magnificent views and no crowds. This is highly recommended experience, combining the classic view, moderate trek challenge, and spiritual pilgrimage to the APU.
