Itinerary

Valley of the Kings
Upon your arrival, meet your guide who will be waiting for you with sign of your name to start you day tour by driving to the west bank to visit the magnificent Valley of the Kings, original burial site of the boy King Tutankhamun; where the royal tombs from the New Kingdom were discovered carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the Pharaohs. Here you will also have the option to explore the tomb of King Tutankhamun.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari
Proceed to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut; this is a mortuary temple with a unique design as it is the only temple in Egypt built in terrace formation into the cliff face. Hatshepsut was a famous female pharaoh who reigned for about 20 years as one of Egypt's most successful rulers and wore a false beard and all the trappings of male pharaohs in order to claim the throne for herself. Listen to her exciting story and know how she succeeded to rule as a sole female pharaoh

Colossi of Memnon
Next, make your way to the Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III and end you tour in the west bank by a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon which are two 17-meters gigantic sitting statues representing Amenophis III facing the Nile Stop for lunch at a good quality restaurant (drinks are not included).
