Zona Arqueologica de Yaxchilan
The archaeological zone of Yaxchilan, one of the most representative of the Mayan culture, whose origin, splendor and decline left its mark in multiple testimonies that continue to surprise both researchers and tourists in general. Exploits of rulers, ritual ceremonies, daily life, are some of the episodes recorded in various series of hieroglyphs, many of which still await patient investigations by experts who can open new windows to the past.
