It is the Kingdom largest reservoir and fourth largest in Southern Africa. The dam was built under the auspices of the South Africa / Swaziland Komati Basin Water Authority and today produces hydroelectric power and supplies irrigation to farmers across wide area.

The Swazi candles started as candles outlets back in 1982 where variety of candles products are moulded from here. Since from then it has expanded as one of the tourism attractions. Some other outlets including restaurants has been added. It is a centre we also recommend for our lunch. Which means both gift shopping and lunch as the main purpose.
