The homes on the island have electricity powered by solar panels. You will also have a chance to do manual labor with the natives, either as cutting the reeds and knitting with the ladies. Itinerary
Transfer from the hotel at 9:00am around (according to your hotel we will give you a closer time) to the Esteves Island (local Uros port), paddling 1 hour or 2 hour after we arrive to Uros floating islands, in the route you can see: a variety of birds, flora, fauna, the landscape of the lake Titicaca and an full rock island before arriving. When we arrive to the lodge the hostess María or Rocío welcomes us and will show you the room to sleep the night, you will have free time to explore and rest, at approximately 3 pm the host will dress you in a typical costume of the aurochs, practice with them how they do their activities and then you will go for a walk around the uros islands and go fish...
