It has Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Mandir, Hanuman Temple, Royal Palace and Kal Bhairab temple in its vicinity. Hanuman Dhoka was the former Royal Palace of the Malla kings which was later passed onto the Shah dynasty. You can visit Kumari Ghar at Basantapur where you can see the living goddess of Nepal.
