Cenote Jade (Jade Caverns): A Hidden Jungle Oasis

The cenote is a natural formation that is more than 60 million years old. We will explain the history of the place to you, you will learn about the importance of cenotes in the Mayan culture and you will be able to have fun jumping into the water from a 20-foot natural platform.

We will stop to walk around the Mayan town, visiting a 900-year-old Mayan Temple and I will explain the fascinating history of the place, most of the townspeople are of Mayan descent, they produce black coral jewelry, finally I will show you one of the oldest Catholic churches in Cozumel.
