Child Policy: No accompanying guest is allowed (include children who are under age of 3). Participants must be aged 8 or above. Eligible participants (aged 8-11) must be accompanied by a paying parent/guardian who satisfies all programme requirements. A parent/guardian can accompany a maximum of two aged 8-11 eligible participants. Eligible participants, or in the case of participants under the age of 18, their accompanying parent/guardian must complete and sign a Health Declaration Form before commencing the programme.

Participants must at all times strictly follow every instruction given by the Park's staff to the satisfaction of the staff giving the instruction. Any unnecessary accessories must not be worn; participants will be requested to put on working suit provided by the Park. Please bring warm clothes to be dressed under the working suit if necessary and wear a pair of clean and skid-proof hiking shoes. In case of emergency, participants must be able to quickly exit the activity venue under the guidance of Park's staff.

All participants must pass a body temperature check before they commence the programme. If a participant's body temperature is outside the range of 36.8°C ± 0.4°C, then he or she may not be permitted to join the programme. Participants must not have open cuts or infections. Participants suffering from any disease (including, but not limited to fever, coughing, cold/flu, nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, skin disease, heart disease, lung disease, haemophilia, epilepsy, fainting/giddiness/loss of consciousness when in close contact with animals, phobia of animals, or depressed immune mechanisms), under the influence of medication and/or alcohol are not recommended to participate in this programme.

This programme is not recommended for any person who is pregnant.

It is highly recommended to make a reservation via internet prior to attending the Park due to the limited capacity. Applications will be considered on a first-come-first-served basis.

Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
Join in a go-behind-the-scenes activity in Panda House in Hong Kong's Ocean Park, a place boasts research laboratory, animal hospital, panda cribs, playground, museum, kitchen and class room. It is not a tourist thing to hold a baby panda for a nice photo. This program is a 1-hour class to learn what it takes to care for panda.
Orientation
You’ll watch a training demonstration of the giant panda. Let you have some general information of giant panda and this Panda House. Put on uniform of Panda Keeper here.
Cleaning
Learn routine work as a Panda Keeper: collect shit, clean up, make record on log book.
Prepare foods
Bamboo leaves are traditional food for panda. In wild area, a panda eats at least 10kg of bamboo everyday. You will learn how to prepare the panda’s meals from a panda expert. Interesting stories about their job taking care of panda will be shared on the class.
Feeding
You will learn some popular foods that panda like, and have chance to feed a panda with “Fruit Skewers" or "Panda Cake" you made.
Group size: 4 participants per group.
Program time: 9:15am to 10:30am (Available on Fridays only)
Language: Cantonese, supplemented by English and Putonghua.
