One of the most astonishing trails from the Romanian Carpathian Mountains, starts on the famous Transfagarasan Road and ends, after breathtaking waterfalls, stairs and adrenaline passages at the Vidraru Dam, the highest and definitely the most beautiful dam from Romania.
It is a complex route, but not very difficult, being well laid out. But hiking shoes and extra clothes are required.

We park the car at the Vidraru Dam and from there we enter Valea lui Stan. The trail is 9 km long, of which 2.5 are actually through the canyon. With the help of stairs, ladders and suspended walkways, we pass by waterfalls and high rocks.
From time to time we will have to cross the river, sometimes even through the water, which is not deep, but it is cold and might get wet.
It is a real wilderness adventure park, with a series of waterfalls surrounded by forest and rocks. There will be no shortage of adrenaline. After heavy rain or snow there is a lot of water. No refund if during the hike the customer decide to interupt becouse it's exceedi...
