Day 1
We depart at 7:00am from Glasgow, heading north through dramatic Highland scenery on a direct journey to Glen Nevis (approx. 2½ hours). From here, the challenge begins as we start our ascent of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Scotland and Britain, rising 1,345 metres above sea level. Once part of an ancient volcano, Ben Nevis is a legendary peak that draws hikers from across the world. The climb takes 7 to 9 hours, rewarding us with breathtaking views over the Highlands on a clear day and an unforgettable sense of achievement. After descending, we travel a short distance to Fort William, where you will check in to your accommodation. The evening is free to relax, enjoy local food and drink, and celebrate conquering Scotland’s highest summit.
