In 2014, this emblematic place was named Los Periodistas-Gabriel García Márquez Park, in honor of the Colombian writer and Nobel Prize winner in literature.
In the center of the park you will find the Temple of the Liberator, designed by the Italian architect Pietro Cantini, who was inspired by the Temple of Vesta in Rome.
