In the morning departure to Heidelberg: First stop at the castle ruins high above the valley, the landmark of the city.
This castle has been the residence of the mighty electors for fivehundred years and is considered as the epitome of German Romanticism. Later we continue to Schwetzingen to visit the former summer residence of the Elector Palatine.
