Hakuba Mountain Harbor- The City Bakery
Continue 15 minutes to Hakuba Mountain Harbor, one of the region's premier scenic viewpoints.
A gondola ride carries you to an elevation of approximately 1,289 meters (4,229 feet), where sweeping views of the Hakuba Three Peaks and the Northern Alps await. The observation area provides a spectacular vantage point from which to admire the surrounding mountain scenery.
During autumn, visitors may witness Hakuba's famous three-layer autumn colors, created by the combination of snow-dusted mountain peaks, vibrant autumn foliage, and dark green evergreen forests. This seasonal contrast produces one of the most memorable landscapes in the Japanese Alps.
Autumn foliage is typically at its best from late October through early November.
