The Seokguram one of Korea’s greatest tangible national treasures and is finally now becoming famous around the world as one of the most supreme pieces of global Buddhist art. In English, Seokguram means “Stone Cave Hermitage.” The artificial cave was first constructed by Kim Daeseong in 751 A.D according to Legends Seokguram was built for his parents from his former life.

Cheomseongdae Observatory built during the reign of Queen Seondeok (r. 632-647) of the Silla Dynasty for observation of the movements of heavenly bodies.
