The expert Naturalist Guide will take the Guide of the group, taking you through ancient forests and extinct craters and introducing you to the spectacular volcanic phenomena that have occurred over time; in the same way, you will discover the typical and unique flora of the north-Etna area and numerous curiosities related to the volcano. While admiring the beauty of Etna, you will hear stories about its inhabitants and their traditions, discovering the link between man and nature. The trekking part will last from 1 hour and a half to 2 hours. Next we will provide you with helmets and torches to enter the volcanic underworld and visit one of the suggestive lava caves of the volcano; during this part, the Guide will explain the origins, characteristics and uses of this fascinating volcanic Superstar.

The ancient cellar of Etna, as called on the volcano “Palmento La Martinella”, is located at 600 m. above sea level, on the northeast side of Etna, in the territory of the municipality of d Linguaglossa, precisely in the homonymous district Martinella. You will have free time to take scenic photos, stroll through the vineyards, relax and enjoy the authentic mountain atmosphere.
