Before returning to your hotel, enjoy a guided tour of Kiruna and discover the city's unique transformation. Drive through the new city center, part of one of the world’s largest urban relocation projects, and pass the relocated Kiruna Church (with a visit included once open to the public). You’ll also explore parts of the old town and learn how the iron ore mine has shaped Kiruna’s history and prompted the relocation of homes, buildings, and entire neighborhoods. Lastly, stop at a local store which sells all sorts of meats, furs and trinkets.
