Akagera National Park
At 5:00 AM – Your English/French-speaking guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali. Enjoy a scenic drive through Rwanda's lush landscapes, passing by vibrant farmlands and local markets, as you head east toward Akagera NP.
Upon arrival at 7:30 am in Akagera NP, proceed to the headquarters for registration and then mbark on a thrilling game drive through the park's diverse habitats. Keep an eye out for the African Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinoceroses.
At 2:00 PM, enjoy a relaxing boat trip on Lake Ihema, which is teeming with wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. The boat ride offers a unique perspective of the park's ecosystem.
At 5:00 PM – Departure. Drive back to Kigali, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences and wildlife encounters of the day. You can expect to arrive in Kigali by approximately 7:30 PM, depending on traffic conditions.
