The first day takes us to the charming medieval village of Óbidos, with its narrow streets and historic walls. We continue to Nazaré, famous for its giant waves, and end the day at the Fátima Sanctuary, an important pilgrimage site.

Our next destination is the university city of Coimbra. Walk through the halls of the University of Coimbra, one of the oldest in Europe, and visit the impressive Joanina Library. The city also offers the Old Cathedral and the charming downtown area.

Discover the “Venice of Portugal,” Aveiro, with its canals and colorful moliceiro boats.

Then we head to Porto, where the beauty of the Port wine cellars, the Lello Bookstore, and the imposing Clérigos Tower await us.

We continue exploring Porto in the morning and then head to Braga, known as the “Portuguese Rome.” Visit the Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary and the Braga Cathedral, one of the oldest in the country.

We explore Guimarães, the birthplace of Portugal, with its castle and the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza. Then we dive into the stunning landscapes of the Douro Valley, famous for its terraced vineyards.

Serra da Estrela
We drive to Serra da Estrela, where you can enjoy the mountainous landscapes and, if the season allows, even play in the snow.
There is two ways to visit it, in the summer and winter. Both very beautiful.

On the eight day, we head to the Alentejo to visit Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the Roman Temple of Diana, Évora Cathedral, and the Chapel of Bones.

We head to the romantic town of Sintra, where you can explore the Pena Palace and the Quinta da Regaleira. Next, we head to the picturesque town of Cascais, passing by Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of mainland Europe.
