Tsavo East National Park Tsavo East is one of the oldest and largest national parks in Kenya, covering approximately 13,747 km². Established in 1948, it forms part of the Tsavo Conservation Area together with Tsavo West and Chyulu Hills National Parks. The park features vast open plains, semi-arid acacia scrub, and the scenic Galana River which sustains an abundance of wildlife.
