Ek Balam means "Black Jaguar" in the Yucatec Maya language. It was a powerful, late‑classic city (circa 600–900 AD), known for its extraordinary defensive walls, its perfectly preserved stucco frieze, and the massive Acropolis – one of the largest structures in the entire Maya world.
On this 1.5‑hour guided walking tour (Including free time), you won't just walk among ruins. You will:
